Akumbu’s Pidgin Class
There are many International volunteers and tourist who visit our region. They hope to experience, to really experience our country, unfortunately, they cannot do that due to Language limited, in a bit to make them feel more involved and are part of the community, we instituted the pidgin Class to give the tourist and International volunteers a chance to experience our country through its Language, though a lingua franca, pidgin is the day to day language of the people of this part of the country.
Our pamphlets and audiobook give these tourists and Volunteers a firsthand means of communication.
This program started in 2015, curated by our very own Director Mr. Akumbu, who has written two pamphlets for their ‘Students’.
