Feedback which is information on a person's performance, turn of events or status quo of an activity that helps to improve performance or make changes to an existing project plan, is very important to the success of a project. With a lot of uncertainty in human behavior and other unforeseen circumstances, it is somewhat impossible to anticipate the outcome of events precisely; improvisions are therefore a key factor in the success or failure of a project.

 

Making informed choices on how to adapt to curveballs and overcome challenges is based on staying informed, on the hour, as activities unfold. Feedback is the basis of monitoring and evaluating the implementation process of every project and information given on time is very important to ensuring that all team members play their roles to ensure the smooth running of the project. 

Within business enterprises, feedback also plays a pivotal role in sustaining product life cycle through providing information on customer taste and market shifts. Enterprises have developed a whole reverse logistics chain within their supply chain to get information from customers right to the management in order to stay ahead of market innovations.
