THE FEDERATION OF THEATRE IN THE NW

In line with the organization of Artistic and Cultural  Institutions in the NW with  Governments aim to transform the system of Arts from purely entertainment to an economic system,to also create a strong team( Federation)that will be able to handle the affairs of theater in the North west  region and nationally, The director of La liberte Arts Group  Mr Akumbu Jones Bubu was  nominated and by acclamation elected as the President of the Federation of theater in the NW but unfortunately he declined the position citing his not ready for any leadership position within the government instituted  Federation but promised to assist the newly elected board members  who have accepted to be in the leadership wherever his competence and convictions will allow him when need be.

The Regional Delegate of Arts and Cultural Mrs Comfort Wanje who facilitated  the elections of board members for the federation, encouraged all  board members and artist to be specific in their domain of Arts as  she quotes "Don't be jack of all trade and master of nothing".The delegate Also  encouraged them to keep doing what they do best in promoting Arts .
